My name is Marian Miranda — a wife, a mother of three beautiful children, and someone who understands what it means to leave everything familiar behind in pursuit of a better future.

I was born and raised in Bataan, Philippines, and like many immigrants, I came to Canada in 2007 carrying dreams, hope, and a determination to create a better life for my family. My journey was not easy. I worked different jobs, went back to school multiple times, and continuously reinvented myself—from being a fast-food manager and school administrator, to becoming a caregiver, working in senior care, studying bookkeeping, and eventually building a career in accounting.

Like many people, I believed that hard work alone would be enough.

Then in 2016, a friend encouraged me to get my insurance license. I studied in the evenings from 6–9 PM in the library while balancing work and family life. I passed my licensing exam and entered the industry, but something didn’t feel right. I struggled because I thought insurance was only about talking about death and payouts. I knew something was missing.

Then came a life-changing moment.

In 2019, my husband and I attended a presentation through Greatway. That night became my A-ha moment. I realized that this business was never just about life insurance—it was about helping families create security, build wealth, and enjoy peace of mind not only during difficult times, but throughout retirement and beyond.

I found purpose.

In January 2020, I officially joined Greatway, and my journey changed completely. What started as learning about finances became a mission to help people save money, protect their families, and change lives.

There was a season when family responsibilities required me to step away and focus on what mattered most. But sometimes stepping away helps you realize where you truly belong.

When I returned, it felt like coming home.

Today, I’m more inspired than ever to continue helping individuals and families build a stronger financial future. Because for me, success is no longer just about achievements—it’s about impact, purpose, and helping others create the life they deserve.

And this is only the beginning.
